This spring I went back to work on expanding some of my existing plots. It’s been a full spring and summer getting them ready to plant. I’ll start out showing you the initial breaking of ground to finish product.

J, I miss the hills sometimes, I can still hunt there on family land but I sure don't miss the rocks. That was a never-ending job at least on my land. Chisel and disk the plots they would look great until the first rain then it looked like a rock quarry. lol. But throw enough seed lime and fertilizer and one can grow something in a gravel pit. I made the move back 5 years ago and it took a lot of back-breaking work each year dozing each year throwing sticks out of plot but I've finally got it where I want it. Excluding a few minor stand placements for next year.  Always fine-tuning things. lol
