Laying here on my bunk in the cabin looking outside it looks like winter . Wonder if the oaks are far enough along that the freeze will take out the acorns.

I know it was cold this morning in Cherokee Village.  I was going to go turkey hunting or fishing but instead I just slept in and then came back to Jonesboro

We took the new to us 5th wheel out this weekend and it sure was an interesting camping trip for the maiden voyage in it.

Friday night the tornado that hit Mountainburg went just northwest of us, then there was rotation just to the southeast of us to. Not to mention the 2-3 inches of rain that fell Friday night.
Saturday the wind was blowing so hard out of the west that you had to sit in the fire pit to get any heat from it. Woke up yesterday morning to spitting snow and the electricity was out. Wind had blown a tree down on the lines we saw on our way home.

But the main part was that I got to meet up with some long time friends that I have not seen in several years and had a great time camping with them and would do it all over again in the same conditions.
