Anyone else fishing in any?  I finished third in a local tournament yesterday.  I was a half pound out of second.  I missed the big bass by .11 pound.  My big bass was 4.06 pounds but my neighbor caught one that was 4.17 pounds.  It was windy but still had a good day.

Saturday evening I was taking my boat back to Cherokee and met about 40 bass boats headed toward Jonesboro.  I figured there must have been a tournament on Norfork or Bull Shoals.

We was camped on the Arkansas River at Ozark over the weekend and no one was catching anything down there that we talked too.
I guess that the old saying "If the wind is out of the east, you will catch the least" holds true.

It was out of the east so hard that I motored to the east side of the lake and let the wind blow me back across and fished as I drifted with the wind.  Not many fish caught but the ones that were caught were some good ones.  No fish were up shallow yet like they were spawning.  It was good to be in the money though.

Let me know if it got muddy and high.  I thought about bass fishing there on Sunday if I do not fish Frierson tournament that day.
