Me and my little girl been setting out last 3  nights watching the stars , pretty cool what you will see and hear out in the boonies at night . We have seen probably 25 shooting stars tonight but I'm sleepy so I give up .She still out there on the far side of the yard all alone never thought she would be that brave.

Lord, make me fast and accurate. Let my aim be true and my hand faster than those who seek to destroy me. Grant me victory over my foes and those that wish to do harm to me and mine. Let not my last thought be, if only I had a gun, and lord, if today is the day you call me home, let me die in a pile of empty brass

The Perseid meteor shower is supposed to peak this weekend. I think I saw where 50-60 meteors per hour are expected. Forecast looks like rain but maybe you can watch that if interested.

To many high thin clouds here to watch. I could barely see any stars and then only once in a while.
