One of our favorite summer-time recipies:
Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream

3 c. sugar
5 eggs
1 t. vanilla
1 c. evaporated milk
4 c. milk

Mix this all in the ice cream freezer and let it go!

Enjoy!!

Her is one that hasn't failed me yet!
Mexican Corn Bread, 2-pkgs. Martha White Yellow Corn bread Mix
1- chopped onion
3-eggs
1-Can Cream Style Corn
1/2 cup- salad oil
1 lb. Sausage- browned and drained
1 lb. Chedder Cheese (shredded)
 Jalapeno Peppers to taste
3 tablespoons- sugar
Mix and Bake at 375 until brown on top. Approximately 30 to 45 minutes.  ( Watch it or it will Burn)
This is a meal in it self. I carry it to work and it doesn't last very long at all! Good stuff

Heres another one that good with BBQ.
Hot Slaw

1 Medium onion, Chopped fine
1 Large Bell pepper Chopped fine
1 cup suger or Splenda
3/4 cup Vinegar
3/4 Cup oil
2 Tbsp. Splenda
1 Tsp. salt
1 Tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. dry mustard
Chop Cabbage, onion, and Bell Pepper. Mix with 1 cup Splenda; set aside while you prepare vinegar, oil, Splenda, salt, celery seed, and mustard. Bring to boil and pour over cabbage while hot. Refrigerate for 4 hours or over night.  Real good with BBQ!
